Working capability

Professional control

AI that enhances judgment — not replaces it.

Appraisal Studio uses AI to streamline administrative tasks while preserving the independence, objectivity, and analytical control required in valuation practice. AI is very good at structuring messy information and describing structured data. Analysis, interpretation, and defensible conclusions remain with the appraiser.

The platform assists with

  • Document ingestion and smart tagging
  • Auto-populated public data
  • Automated extraction from property documents
  • Organized comp libraries
  • AI-assisted narrative drafting
  • Real-time quality checks for completeness

The platform does not

  • Generate value conclusions
  • Apply automated valuation models
  • Override appraiser judgment
  • Make analytical decisions

You remain the analyst. The platform handles the rest.

Your models

Keep your models. Connect them to the assignment.

Appraisers should not have to abandon the analysis models they trust. Appraisal Studio can be configured around the workbooks and models you already use, subject to onboarding scope — the analysis stays yours either way.

Start from Appraisal Studio templates

Analysis templates built around recognized appraisal methodology, connected to the assignment out of the box.

Bring your own models

Discuss integrating your existing workbooks during onboarding, so familiar models stay connected to the record.

The agent layer

Agents you can see, direct, and verify.

Every agent in Appraisal Studio runs on visible machinery: curated context bundles, explicit instructions, and your choice of model. Configure an agent, test it against a real assignment, and read exactly what it was given and what it produced. The same harness that drives report drafting already runs document extraction — and it is built to carry agent-guided workflows across research, analysis, drafting, and review.

  • Context bundles: the agent works from exactly what you choose to give it
  • Prompts and model selection, configurable per agent
  • Test runs against real assignments, with the full context payload visible

Professional control

Agent output is reviewed by the appraiser before it enters the work.

Working capability
The agent command center: context bundles, prompts, model selection, and a reviewed test run

Founder

Built from inside the profession.

Appraisal Studio began as an internal workflow project built by Jon C. Legault, MAI — a practicing commercial appraiser — to support real appraisal assignments. The product reflects firsthand production, supervision, review, and training experience: how workfiles are actually assembled, how analyses are actually supported, and how reports actually get reviewed and signed.
